The Not So Typical™ Standards

This isn't a network you can buy your way into. Every application is reviewed, because the value of this directory depends entirely on the integrity of the people in it.

To join, you must demonstrate:

Non-Negotiables:

  • Anti-diet culture approach (no weight loss marketing, before/afters, or body shaming)

  • Anti-toxic gym culture (no "no excuses" / "beast mode" etc)

  • Genuinely accessible practice (considers sensory needs, nervous system states, neurodivergent experiences)

  • Active support for marginalised communities

Evidence of Alignment:

  • Lived experience or demonstrated commitment to serving marginalised communities

  • Portfolio showing values-aligned work

  • Clear anti-diet stance in your marketing

Automatic Disqualifiers:

  • Active diet/weight loss marketing

  • Before/after transformation content

  • Exclusionary or gatekeeping language
