Neuroinclusive Fitness Speaker: Rhiannon Cooper

Challenging who gets to take up space in fitness, and everywhere else.

About Rhiannon

Rhiannon is a neuroinclusive personal trainer, speaker, and advocate who specialises in creating fitness experiences for people the industry has left behind.

As founder of Not So Typical Fitness, she works with neurodivergent and anxious clients who've been excluded by traditional gym culture, using her Sensory Safe Strength System and trauma-informed approach to rebuild their relationship with movement and strength.

Rhiannon challenges the toxic narratives that fitness belongs only to certain bodies and certain people. Her work proves that strength sports, and strength itself, are for everyone.

Her talks address the uncomfortable reality that many "inclusive" spaces still expect everyone to participate the same way; whether that's breathwork, group movement, or public vulnerability exercises. While some people thrive in these environments, others are trying to survive them.

She brings a nuanced understanding of how pressure to "join in" or the visibility of opting out creates impossible choices for neurodivergent people, anxious individuals, and anyone who doesn't fit the mould. True inclusion isn't everyone doing the same thing together; it's creating genuine choice about how each person engages.

Whether speaking at conferences, running workshops, or consulting on event accessibility, Rhiannon's focus is always the same: making sure every person can participate safely, on their own terms, without performance or pressure.
