About Training Sessions
What can I expect from a personal training session?
Every session is tailored to your goals and energy levels. We'll focus on movement that feels good and build your confidence—whether that's strength training, cardio, mobility, or a mix.
How long is a personal training session?
Standard sessions are 45–60 minutes. We can adapt depending on your needs, energy, or schedule.
Do I need to be fit to start personal training?
Absolutely not! You don't need to "get fit" before starting personal training. I help you begin right where you are—no judgment, just progress.
What if I don't know how to use gym equipment?
That's okay! I'll guide you step-by-step and explain everything. You'll never be left guessing or feeling awkward at the gym.
Neurodivergent Personal Training
Do you offer personal training for autistic adults?
Yes! I specialise in personal training for autistic and ADHD adults. You'll be supported in a way that suits your brain and body, with no pressure to mask or explain yourself repeatedly.
Can I bring fidget tools or noise-cancelling headphones to personal training?
100% yes. You're welcome to use fidget tools, headphones, or anything else that helps regulate your sensory needs during training sessions.
What if I need to cancel due to autistic burnout?
I offer flexibility and understanding for neurodivergent clients. Burnout, shutdowns, and bad sensory days are valid reasons to reschedule. Just let me know as soon as you can.
Do you mask during personal training sessions?
No. I show up authentically as my neurodivergent self and welcome you to do the same. There's no pressure to hide stimming, explain your needs repeatedly, or pretend to be okay when you're not.
Location & Logistics
Where do you offer personal training in Wolverhampton?
I'm a fitness coach at JD Gyms Wolverhampton and offer personal training both in-person at JD Gyms and online. Contact me to check current availability for in-person or online personal training.
Do you know JD Gyms Wolverhampton?
Yes! I work there as a fitness coach, so I know the layout, quiet times, and how to navigate the space if crowds or sensory overload are concerns. I've created a complete guide to JD Gyms Wolverhampton covering everything from access after 10pm to when it's quietest.
Do you offer personal training for people with gym anxiety?
Absolutely. I specialise in helping people with gym anxiety feel comfortable and confident. We can start during quieter times, use the women-only area if that feels safer, or begin with online sessions to build confidence before stepping into the gym.
How do I book a personal training session in Wolverhampton?
You can book via the contact page, DM me on social media, or text me at 07855 285514. I'll confirm availability for in-person training at JD Gyms Wolverhampton or online sessions.
What is your personal training cancellation policy?
Please give 24 hours' notice for cancellations where possible. I'm flexible with emergencies, especially for neurodivergent clients; burnout, shutdowns, and bad sensory days are valid reasons to reschedule.
Goals & Approach
Can a personal trainer help with weight loss?
I focus on building sustainable habits and improving your relationship with movement and food. Weight loss may be part of your goal, but it's never the only focus of personal training.
Do personal trainers provide meal plans?
I offer guidance and tools for better nutrition but not strict meal plans. If needed, I can refer you to a registered dietitian for personalised nutrition support.
