Show Up, Stay You: 6-Week Gym Confidence Programme
Confidence doesn’t come first; it comes with practice. If the gym feels overwhelming, you’re not broken. You just need support that understands you.
Why the Gym Feels So Hard
For many of us, walking into the gym isn’t about laziness or lack of motivation; it’s about anxiety, overwhelm, and uncertainty.
Maybe you’ve thought:
“Everyone will stare at me.”
“I’ll just embarrass myself.”
“I’ve tried before and failed.”
You’re not alone. The truth is, confidence doesn’t magically appear before you start; it grows because you start, one step at a time.
That’s exactly what Show Up, Stay You is here to help you do.

What This Gym Confidence Programme Is About
Show Up, Stay You is a 6-week group and guided programme created to help you:
Feel calmer and more confident in gym spaces
Manage overwhelm and sensory overload
Build realistic, flexible routines
Learn gentle strategies that work with your neurodivergent brain
Finally start enjoying movement without judgment or pressure
This isn’t a bootcamp or a fitness challenge. It’s a supportive space to build emotional and practical confidence at your pace.
Created by Rhiannon Cooper, a neurodivergent personal trainer who understands what gym anxiety really feels like.
How It Works
Start Date: Monday, 10th November 2025
End Date: Sunday, 15th December 2025

6-Week Journey
Here’s what we’ll cover inside Show Up, Stay You:
Week | Theme | Focus |
---|---|---|
1 | Calm the Overwhelm | Manage anxiety & sensory overload |
2 | Find Your Space | Build comfort in your environment |
3 | First Steps in Action | Create a repeatable mini routine |
4 | Building Confidence | Keep showing up, even on low days |
5 | Owning Your Progress | Recognise wins without numbers |
6 | Confidence for the Long-Term | Reflect, reset, and prepare for the new year |
By the end of six weeks, you won’t just feel more confident but you’ll have a toolkit for calm, sustainable progress.
You don’t need to change everything overnight.
Confidence starts with small steps and a space where you can show up as yourself.
That’s exactly what we’ll do together inside Show Up, Stay You.
Why I Created This
Hi, I’m Rhiannon; an autistic, ADHD personal trainer who used to cancel gym inductions because of panic attacks.
I know what it feels like to want to change your life but freeze the moment you step into the gym. That’s why I built Show Up, Stay You, to give you the space, structure, and support I wish I’d had.
Because you don’t need to be confident to start; you just need to start, and keep showing up as you.
