I'm Rhiannon, an autistic and ADHD personal trainer based in Wolverhampton. I know firsthand how overwhelming gym environments can feel; the noise, the crowds, the unwritten rules, the sensory overload.

That's exactly why I offer gym-based personal training at JD Gym Wolverhampton and Codsall Leisure Centre. I'll be right there with you, helping you navigate the space, learn the equipment, and build confidence in a real gym environment.

Regular Gym Personal Training:

Step 2: Your First Session

We'll start with a complete gym tour and orientation. You'll learn:

  • Where everything is and how to navigate the space

  • What to expect in your first PT session

  • Basic equipment and how to use it

  • Sensory management strategies for this specific gym

  • Social scripts for common situations

Step 3: Build Your Program

We'll create a personalised plan based on:

  • Your goals (strength, confidence, mobility, mood)

  • Your energy patterns and executive function

  • Your sensory needs and triggers

  • Your schedule and availability

Step 4: Ongoing Support

You'll get:

  • Regular in-person sessions (frequency you choose)

  • Between-session support via text/email

  • Program adjustments as you progress

  • Accountability that works with neurodivergent brains

Not So Typical Fitness Approach:

Do I need a gym membership?

Yes. You'll need a membership to either JD Gym Wolverhampton or Codsall Leisure Centre. I can advise on membership options during our discovery call.

What if I've never been to a gym before?

Perfect! Most of my clients are complete beginners. We'll do a full gym induction together, and you'll never feel rushed or judged.

What if I have gym anxiety?

Can I train during quiet times?

Absolutely! We'll schedule your sessions during off-peak hours when the gym is calmer and less overwhelming.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens! You can reschedule with 24 hours' notice. We'll work around your energy levels and executive function challenges.

Do you offer online training too?

Yes! If gym environments feel too overwhelming right now, I also offer home-based personal training and online coaching. We can start there and transition to gym-based when you're ready.

How is this different from the Confidence Starter Package?

The Confidence Starter Package is a 3-session program specifically for building gym confidence (£349 with 4 weeks of support). Gym-Based PT is ongoing personal training for people who want continued accountability and progressive programming. Many clients start with the Confidence Package, then continue with regular PT sessions.
