You Don't Need to Be Smaller to Be Worthy
My TEDx talk, from the TEDxWolverhampton stage. Nine minutes on the story the fitness industry doesn't tell you.
I gave this talk because I got tired of watching people wait.
Wait until they're smaller. Wait until they're fitter. Wait until they finally look the part before they let themselves take up space.
I coach strongwomen and beginners and people who've been told their whole lives that fitness isn't for bodies like theirs. It is. It always was.
This talk is the short version of everything I believe about that.
Near the end, I ask two questions. I'm going to leave them here too, because they're worth sitting with.
Where are you shrinking yourself right now?
And what would happen if you stopped?
